I worked a Veteran community service project over the weekend with Team Rubicon, so I decided that today was my day to do whatever I wanted.

Naturally, I rode the VFR. Today was a good day.

I of course played the Bugle for the local ceremony in Nepean Ontario. Last year they didn't have anyone to play, and I told them I could play since I have played trumpet forever.

I nailed it today. One girl said I made her cry. I am very proud of myself, it's not easy to play in front of 500 strangers. Especially the way our ceremonies go, the last post is the only thing that goes on when it's being played so it's 500 people...looking at you and you alone!!!

Thanked the Vets's I know, worked the whole day as this is one of the days we don't get off. Sitting on the train now on my way home. Probably will hit up the firing range tomorrow or try figure out a way to sneak $650 past the wife for a 308 Browning BLR with a 2x7 scope... Damn budgeting.

Woke up in Tokyo, went to work.

The Union co-workers in the states (UAW) got off, it was optional for the non union employees.
